Our first spotlight is on a revolutionary dental material, the IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime Block. Designed for speed sintering, these blocks are a game-changer for single-visit dental workflows. Crowns milled from these blocks can be sintered in just 15 minutes, thanks to the efficient Programat CS6 sintering furnace from Ivoclar or the CEREC SpeedFire furnace from Dentsply Sirona. What's remarkable is that the fast sintering doesn't compromise the material strength, with a flexural strength of 1100 MPa. With a thinness of just 0.8 mm for posterior crowns, these blocks offer both speed and durability. Available in size C17 and various shades, the IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime blocks provide a natural shade and translucency progression from the dentin to the incisal edge.

Next up, PostProcess Technologies introduces the DEMI X 250 Series, featuring patent-pending Axial Flow Technology™. These automated post-processing solutions aim to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and user-friendly operation in additive manufacturing. With intelligent software capabilities, robust hardware design, and IPA-Free resin removal on 3D printed parts, the DEMI X 520 for Resin Removal™ and DEMI X 520 for Dental Resin Removal™ promise a streamlined post-processing experience. Low odor, high flashpoints, and validated workflows contribute to operator well-being, making these solutions a standout choice in the world of dental technology.

Now, we turn our attention to Armis Biopharma®, making its debut at the 2024 Chicago Midwinter Meeting with a trio of groundbreaking products. Known as "The Trifecta of Dental Infection Control," these solutions are set to revolutionize oral hygiene practices. ArmiGard™ offers a non-toxic solution for eliminating odor-causing bacteria on various oral appliances, aligners, and more. ArmiCare®, a lavender-scented hand sanitizer, ensures effective germ eradication while keeping hands hydrated. Lastly, ArmiClenz® serves as a versatile disinfectant for multiple surfaces, targeting harmful pathogens efficiently and comprehensively. All three products share the power of Armis Biopharma’s proprietary agent, independently verified for its efficacy against various threats.

Shifting gears to chairside CAD/CAM materials, Kuraray Noritake Dental presents the KATANA™ Zirconia ONE blocks. Offering strength and esthetics for versatile use in any oral area, these blocks are compatible with the CEREC Primemill and Speed Fire furnace. With a quick milling time under 5 minutes and an 18-minute firing cycle, these blocks allow for the delivery of a zirconia crown in just 35 minutes. The material minimizes tool wear, provides accurate fit and durability, and comes in various shades based on VITA Classic Shades. KATANA Zirconia ONE blocks offer an efficient chairside CAD/CAM material option for dental practices looking to streamline their inventory.

Another highlight today is the Carestream Dental's CS 8200 3D Access, paving the way for seamless transitions to Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) imaging. This 4-in-1 system offers 2D panoramic imaging, CBCT imaging, 3D-object scanning, and optional cephalometric imaging in a single unit. With up to 6 selectable fields of view and ultra-high-resolution images at 75-microns, it caters to diverse imaging needs. The open platform, IO Scanner Link feature, and various software modules through Swissmeda provide a connected experience, unlocking new treatment potential. Laser-free face-to-face positioning, AI-driven features, and additional options like CS MAR and CS UpStream contribute to an overall seamless and intuitive workflow.

Wrapping up today's episode with a groundbreaking product in oral probiotics - Biocidin Botanicals® introduces Dentalflora.
