Dentsply Sirona, manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, and A-dec, a leading name in dental operatory equipment, have announced a significant expansion of their collaboration. The strategic alliance now encompasses the integration of Dentsply Sirona's Primescan Connect™ intraoral scanner with A-dec's A-dec 500 and A-dec 300 delivery systems. This development underscores the shared commitment to simplifying processes, enhancing ease of use, and boosting productivity in the realm of digital impressions, according to a press release from the companies.

A-dec CEO, Marv Nelson, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration in the press release, stating, "A-dec customers will benefit from the ability to offer digital impression more easily with great accessibility to images. The Primescan Connect intraoral scanner, known for its accuracy and efficiency, facilitates a full arch scan in under 1 minute. When integrated into A-dec's delivery system, it aims to enhance the patient experience, streamline operational efficiency, and contribute to revenue generation for dental practices, per the press release. The scanner is powered by Dentsply Sirona's cloud-based software platform, DS Core, offering dental professionals tools for improved daily workflows, such as remote image viewing from smartphones and other connected devices.
