eAssist’s acquisition of Practice Booster will combine the online platform with eAssist’s dental insurance and billing service platform to serve dental professionals nationwide.
Dental insurance and billing service platform eAssist Dental Solutions has announced its acquisition of Practice Booster®. Practice Booster is an online platform that offers dental coding information tools and resources available to dental professionals. Charles Blair, DDS, is the founder of Practice Booster. His mission in creating Practice Booster was to provide a resource for dentists to receive what is owed to them by insurance companies.
This acquisition by eAssist was done in part to promote growth for Practice Booster, and to display eAssist’s commitment to being a trustworthy source for dentists who are looking to bolster their practice’s administrative support. CEO and founder of eAssist James Anderson, DMD, said in a press release that this acquisition will further strengthen eAssist’s mission.
“Moving forward, we are developing new and innovative coding and Practice Booster tools, further rexpanding the line of resources. eAssist is committed to being THE definitive source for billing, coding, and administrative support for dentists and their teams,” Dr Anderson said in the press release. “Having the ability to continue to provide and expand upon Dr. Blair’s knowledge and tools is another way eAssist can bring peace of mind to dentists.”
Included in this acquisition is Practice Booster, Dr Charles Blair & Associates, and American Dental Support LLC. American Dental Support LLC is the publisher of “Coding with Confidence,” written by Dr Blair. Henry Schein, Inc. acquired a 70% ownership position in eAssist back in June, 2021.
