Planmeca USA will integrate its Romexis software with the Digital Dental Exchange from Henry Schein One to better connect dental practices to dental labs.
Planmeca USA has announced its Romexis®software will be integrated with Henry Schein One’s web service, Digital Dental Exchange (DDX®). Romexis is a diagnosis and treatment planning open software platform, containing patient data modules such as videos, PDFS, and 2D/3D images in a central database.
Now, with this integration into DDX, clinicians can create new cases using the Romexis-populated patient information, and more easily send this information to labs in a quick and secure manner, according to a press release from Planmeca.
“With DDX’s easy-to-use interface and integrated workflow, we make it easy for practitioners to manage the creation of correct scan-to-patient-to-treatment plans. This frees up time to provide quality care for patients,” said Mike Baird, CEO, Henry Schein One. “Because DDX is an interoperative network that connects with other digital dentistry technologies, it simplifies the clinical workflow among dentists, labs, and specialists.”
Dentists and orthodontists using Reveal® clear aligners from Henry Schein Orthodontics can utilize Romexis to demonstrate potential clear aligner case results to orthodontic patients. Case progress can be tracked through this integration.
This integration will connect practitioner and lab with a robust software solution.
