Dental equipment manufacturer Planmeca today announced a commitment to providing the highest-level extraoral imaging available to the 84 myOrthos partner practices. The technology available to myOrthos offices includes the quality and durability of the Planmeca ProMax® product lines, which includes the Planmeca ProMax 3D imaging units.

Henry Schein Dental is aligned to support the Planmeca products, and the Planmeca Digital Academy team will deliver the educational resources and training, the company states. The clinical team of independent orthodontists chose Planmeca after a thorough review that assured operational leadership that Planmeca is the best choice for a long-standing partnership because of its corporate stability and dedication to product development.

Earlier this year, Planmeca launched the Planmeca Viso® G3, a multifunctional CBCT device designed to meet all 2D to 3D extraoral imaging needs. Also, the company announced the option of a total of 10 years of warranty on all Planmeca 3D CBCT units.
