The new Planmeca ProMax® 3D LE (Limited Edition) is the gateway to Planmeca 3D imaging systems, offering great value without sacrificing quality.
“We’ve listened closely to dentists at tradeshows and focus groups and many tell us they would like to offer their patients our key diagnostic and safety features like SCARA robotic technology and ultra- ow dose imaging capability,” says Brett Hines, president of Planmeca USA. “However, they also tell us the cost of entry to get into 3D technology is high.”
Hines says the new Planmeca ProMax® 3D LE is the gateway imaging system that will open 3D technology to all dentists. The new LE reportedly allows dentists to offer technological advances to their patients now and upgrade as new features come available in the future.

The Planmeca ProMax® 3D LE is software driven and designed around SCARA (Selectively Complaint Articulated Robotic Arm) Technology. “This results in keeping your imaging and diagnostic technology current without reinvesting in a new unit,” he says.
Dentists can now plan and verify implant placement using the realistic implant, abutment and crown models included in the Planmeca Romexis® software. The implant library offers more htan 66 manufacturers’ content and is frequently updated. Dentists can superimpose a soft-tissue scan and crown design with CBCT data, creating the perfect environment for implant planning.
