At the leading international trade fair in the dental industry, Planmeca presents a sensational line-up of trailblazing new products that both expand and complement its range of advanced digital dental equipment.
Leading the way is a lightning-fast new intraoral scanner, Planmeca Emerald™ S. Continuing the legacy of its predecessor, Planmeca Emerald™, Planmeca Emerald S reportedly cmbines high speed with high precision to provide easy, accurate and even faster digital impressioning. The scanner's new scanning algorithm, transillumination tip for caries detection and tooth shade assistant are said to ensure an unparalleled and incredibly fast scanning experience.
At this year's event, Planmeca also brings 3D printing to dental clinics. Designed specifically for dental professionals, Planmeca Creo™ C5 is a high-performance chairside 3D printer that's engineered to enable fabricating patient-specific surgical guides, dental models and aligner bases reliably and in a single patient visit. Its compact and robust aluminium body makes it ideal for clinics and labs of any size.
The growing Planmeca Viso™ family of next-generation imaging units has been expanded with the Planmeca Viso™ G5. The newest addition to Planmeca's range of CBCT imaging devices reportedly provides exceptional ease of use through unique patient positioning and intelligent FOV adjustments. With its many accessible features, low-dose imaging protocol and noise and artefact removal, Planmeca Viso G5 is reportedly set to become a staple of the dental practice.

The intelligent Planmeca Solanna™ Vision makes operating lights even brighter. In addition to providing superior lighting over the entire treatment area, the cutting-edge operating light is said to come with, among other things, computerised image processing capabilities and two fully integrated 4K cameras, which allow for recording treatment sessions.
Planmeca also introduces Planmeca ActiveAqua™, a state-of-the-art water treatment system to complement its new Planmeca Compact™ i5 dental unit. Planmeca ActiveAqua reportedly purifies the water entering the dental unit without added chemicals, resulting in clean and soft water that's safe for the dental team, patient and dental unit. The revolutionary system is based on electro-chemical activation (ECA) and is fully integrated into the dental unit - reportedly marking the first of its kind in the industry.
Finally, everything comes together seamlessly in Planmeca Romexis® 6.0, the latest version of Planmeca's powerful all-in-one software. The new software version is said to include a wide selection of new tools and features alongside a modern user interface. With a particular focus on usability, Romexis 6.0 reportedly offers an easier navigation with fewer clicks and a streamlined workflow for all stages of treatment from image acquisition to diagnosis and treatment planning.
