Panthera Dental Launches You Scan, We Design Service

Article

The newest digital workflow from Panthera Dental is designed to save dental labs and practices time without impacting restoration quality.

Panthera Dental launches You Scan, We Design Service

Created to reduce the need to ship physical materials for design and fabrication of dental restorations, You Scan, We Design is a new CAD/CAM workflow available from Panthera Dental.

With an order process that requires just two steps—scanning the denture try in, model, and scan bodies using a lab 3D scanner; and creating a prescription through Panthera's online ordering system—You Scan, We Design can be used to efficiently complete fixed removable cases, according to a press release. After the case information is received, Panthera's team handles the design and fabrication of the restoration. Customers can monitor case progress, as well as validate or modify the design prior to manufacturing.

The new workflow is compatible with more than 60 dental implant platforms and Panthera standard metal implant bars are available along with Double Structure, ReBourke™, and Diamart™ solutions.

The new solution is said to reduce concerns about materials breaking during shipping while eliminating outbound shipping costs. To make the new workflow user friendly, Panthera's online ordering system has been updated and You Scan, We Design guides and videos are available.
