Orthodontists Can Remineralize White Spot Lesions Around Brackets With Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus

Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus is a non-invasive preventive therapy that remineralizes white spots from the inside out, providing orthodontists with an effective treatment for white spot lesions that appear on patients’ teeth while braces are still on. Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus is now available to orthodontists through sole US distributor Young Specialties, a division of Young Innovations, a global supplier of dental products.

Young Innovations has collaborated with the maker of Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus, vVARDIS, a cutting-edge oral care manufacturer based in Switzerland, to bring this product to market in the US.Orthodontists or trained hygienists can easily apply this therapy to remineralize white spots around brackets on patients who wear braces.

“Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus is a game-changer, offering doctors and their patients an opportunity for treatment between preventive and restorative interventions,” says Jonathan Espel, Preventive Category Director at Young Specialties. “Studies show that through guided enamel remineralization – while brackets are still on – Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus results in a 13 times higher probability of success compared to fluoride varnish and offers a 95% success rate.”

Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus is applied directly onto the cleaned surface of the white spot and allowed to dry for 5 minutes. After as little as 1 application, Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus acts where it is needed. Initial results are visible in about 90 days, according to a press release.

Young Innovation’s distribution of Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus to dental professionals reflects a continued commitment to invest in dental treatment therapies that can prevent and address dental caries, the largest and most prevalent non-communicable disease globally.
