Oral-B and Straumann Partner for Periodontal and Peri-Implant Prevention Education

Oral-B and Straumann have announced a partnership that aims to educate on the importance of prevention and periodontal and peri-implant health. This education is said to include eventual courses, events, webinars, and publications crafted by experts in the dental industry.

Because tooth loss is such a prevalent oral health concern, Oral-B and Straumann wish to educate on its most effective deterrent: prevention.

“Prevention of tooth or implant loss is for many years an important topic for us in the Straumann Group,” said Vice President, Global Head of Biomaterials at the Straumann Group Arik Zucker. “As one of the world’s leading dental implant companies, we work closely with experts from the research and clinical fields to address the issues caused by peri-implantitis and periodontitis. The Alliance with Oral-B complements our efforts and offers a solid ground for further scientific and educational activities that will enable more dental professionals to improve their patients’ lives.”

This partnership will be launched June 17, 2022 at EuroPerio10 Copenhagen. Innovations from Oral-B and Straumann will be showed off at this periodontology and implant dentistry congress, including both Oral-B iO Specialized Clean brush head and Biomaterials solutions from Straumann.

Oral-B iO10 with iOsense will launch later this year in September.
