The new desktop 3D printer from Nexa3D will save space, time, and hassle because of its many new features.
Nexa3D has announced its new desktop 3D printer, the XiP™. The XiP printer joins the NXE 400 and NXD 200, in Nexa3D’s 3D printing offerings. The new desktop is designed with a smaller footprint and smaller price point, according to CEO, Chairman, and Co-Founder of Nexa3D Avi Reichental.
“We wanted to make ultrafast 3D printing available and accessible to every business that could benefit,” Reichental said in a press release from the company. “The XiP will allow a wide range of users to create at the speed of thought — turning their ideas into products more quickly. We envision a world where all businesses can have a prototype product in their hand in the space of one day, while working sustainably, safely and responsibly.”
The XiP features a large build volume, 3.8 liters print volume, high resolution, and 50 μm / 100 μm / 200 μm layer thickness. It also relies on Smart Resin Cartridge and a Toolless Vat System. Smart feed resin delivery allows for touch-free material loading and intelligent polymer levels in the vat. This is said to enable greater print optimization.
These features are meant to make the 3D printing workflow faster, easier, and more ergonomically efficient. The XiP can work best in a busy commercial environment, making it a good fit for a variety of labs and practices.
