The new SureSmile^TM Simulator from Dentsply Sirona is a software tool that uses the company’s Primescan scan data to create a custom 3D visualization of the patient's possible smile following SureSmile® Clear Aligner Treatment. Powered by the company’s DS Core, a cloud-based platform that combines products, services, and technology to help shape the future of dental practices, users can easily access multiple patient records including scans, x-rays, and documents from multiple devices through the web-based browser facilitating a seamless start to your SureSmile workflow.

With the simulator, clinicians can show their patients their new smiles before they start treatment. Minutes after uploading an intraoral scan from the Primescan intraoral scanner, the SureSmile Simulator creates a 3D visualization of the patient’s potential new smile following the clear aligner treatment. The simulation is designed to help support treatment acceptance, enhance case evaluation capabilities, set expectations, educate patients, and streamline the SureSmile Workflow with DS Core and Primescan.

A 3D visualization is a great way for patients to see the potential value of their investment. Additionally, this workflow educates patients about their estimated treatment duration and potential results. You can save and send images to your patients so they can show family and friends.
