Multi-Unit Abutments

Designed to add additional flexibility to the Neoss4+ Treatment Solution, Multi-Unit Abutments from Neoss Group, feature patented design elements to help make full-arch restorations more efficient, esthetic, predictable, and economical. The Multi-Unit Abutments are available in 30º, 17º, and 10º angulations with reduced vertical heights. The clinical screw is fixed within the abutment to eliminate the possibility of dropping it during treatment, and the abutments can be tightened up to 32 Ncm. They are treated with a yellow anodization which reportedly helps enhance the esthetics against the peri-implant soft tissue. With the Multi-Unit Abutments, clinicians now have three abutment options with the Neoss4+ Treatment Solution. The system is also compatible with NeoBase and Access Abutments, allowing clinicians to design cases using the components that are optimized to meet that patient's individual needs.

Samba

The new Samba robotic toothbrush is designed to allow people with disabilities to brush their teeth effectively and independently. CURAPROX is hopeful this first-of-its-kind robotic toothbrush can have a big impact on improving oral care for people with physical and mental disabilities. Currently, many in this group of people have only 2 options for brushing their teeth: rely on a family member or a caregiver, or brush on their own and compromise their health with subpar cleaning. In development for over 8 years by an Israeli startup, Samba utilizes a pioneering combination of low- and high-frequency oscillations, propelling 12,900 soft bristles along the teeth with a dynamic brushing motion that helps remove plaque and debris more thoroughly from the teeth and gums. This technology is designed to eliminate the need for manual hand movements, granting individuals newfound independence in their oral care routine. Unlike traditional toothbrushes that clean only 1 surface at a time, Samba is said to clean 36 surfaces simultaneously, reducing brushing time from 2 minutes to 30 seconds per side. By simplifying the brushing process and optimizing oral hygiene, the new robotic toothbrush paves the way for a healthier future for those who have long struggled to maintain proper oral health, according to CURAPROX, the product brand of Curaden. Samba is officially available only in the U.S. starting September 7th.

CURIE Plus

Ackuretta’s CURIE Plus next-generation UV curing oven for dental 3D Printing is designed to enable the mass production of high-quality dental applications and reduce barriers to access for patients. CURIE Plus is engineered to maximize efficiency with an expanded chamber capacity that is capable of curing up to 8 full arches simultaneously, matching the 3D printing capacity of the Ackuretta SOL printer. With broad UV wavelength coverage and 360o light distribution that ensures each layer is cured and removes the need to manually flip prints, the new UV curing oven is designed to reduce curing time while providing ultra-accurate results. CURIE Plus is built for compatibility with nitrogen sources that increase nitrogen saturation in the chamber to 95% and enable more efficient light absorption. Users are promised unseen esthetics —including improved color transparency, smoothness, and up to 25% more flexural strength, according to the company. Equipped with an intuitive 5” touchscreen to monitor curing parameters and a one-click open/lock door mechanism to mitigate UV leakage, the oven offers a premium user experience. Thanks to smart integration with SOL, users can now simplify their workflow from print to cure, reduce error, and optimize their productivity. Additionally, its calibrated resin library is pre-programmed with industry-leading resins, including Class IIa biocompatible materials, to make it easier to meet patient needs.
