ChairsideCAD 3.1 Rijeka, exocad’s latest version of its CAD software for single-visit restorations, features a new tool to easily customize tooth abrasion in real time and gives clinicians the ability to reuse anatomical designs for multiple restorations. This is designed to help save valuable time along the patient journey when creating clip-on smiles for patient engagement, temporaries, and final restorations. The software focuses on ease of use for clinicians who have limited time and want high quality results. Improved case management with a guided workflow and new 3D scan previews offers clearer steps to final restorations. With ChairsideCAD 3.1 Rijeka, users can now create three-quarter/overlay crown designs and design restorations on stock abutments. To engage patients more and increase treatment commitment instant in-face visualization is now available in the Smile Creator add-on module. The Smile Window now provides real-time visualization of the results throughout the design process.
Additional features include: iTero NIRI (near-infrared imaging) and intraoral camera images are now automatically incorporated via the iTero-exocad Connector™ when designing restorations, making it possible to visualize the internal and external tooth structure and optimize the process of margin line tracing; upgraded full-function articulator including new “in-skull” articulator allows you to consider dynamic occlusion when designing any restoration with occlusion; during anatomic free-forming, the affected parts of the design are visualized, showing the affected parts highlighted in green; and new built-in screenshot management tools make it possible to collect, edit, and tag screenshots for improved communication and documentation.
