The composite is designed to have the ideal flow for cavity adaptation.
SDI has announced the launch of its new Aura EasyFlow light-cured flowable composite.
Aura Easyflow is the first flowable based on the technologies used in SDI’s successful Aura range of composites. It is optimized to provide the right features where you need them: It is highly radiopaque when used as a liner under direct restorations and easy to shade match when used in esthetic zones. Like SDI’s Aura range of composites, Aura Easyflow is designed with a unique shading system that makes shade matching fast and easy.
Designed to have ideal flow for cavity adaptation, Aura Easyflow will follow structural irregularities of prepared dentine. Its carefully selected filler load ensures the right flowability to completely seal the tooth/restorative interface. Radiopacity at 265%Al is higher than that of enamel and dentine, enabling the clear distinction of Aura Easyflow on radiographs.
More from SDI: How to use SDI's Aura universal composite to correct esthetics
A nanohybrid filler system ensures Aura Easyflow has strong mechanical properties. It will withstand the flexion that occurs during normal masticatory function, ensuring reduced stress along the bonding interface.
Along with strength, optical properties are also optimized. Aura Easyflow has the perfect blend of translucency, opacity, opalescence and fluorescence to mimic that of a natural tooth. It contains the same chameleon effect of Aura, Aura Easy and Aura Bulk Fill. Four Aura Easyflow unique shades equate to eight VITA® A1-B4® shades. Aura Easyflow’s shades are extremely color stabile and patients will have long lasting satisfaction when it is used in esthetic zones.
Regardless of what layer Aura Easyflow is used in, its properties are designed to maximise clinical success.
