Neoss Group, Osstell AB to Collaborate on Dental Implant Products, Solutions

A pair of prominent dental implants companies in Sweden have reached an agreement to collaborate on the development of products designed to improve patient care worldwide.

Implant solutions pioneer Neoss® Group announced the partnership with Gothenburg, Sweden’s Osstell® AB. This collaboration unites the strengths of the 2 organizations, while Neoss Group and Osstell AB will solidify their positions as key players in the dental industry.

The 2 companies are excited about the expected transformative impact this partnership will have on the dental implant market, benefiting both clinicians and patients. They plan to work together to deliver efficient implant solutions and to advance oral health.

Robert Gottlander, DDS, CEO and President of Neoss Group, states in a press release this week: "Teaming up with Osstell, the world leader in Resonance Frequency Analysis, allows us to fuse our cutting-edge dental implant solutions with their extensive knowledge in the field of dental implant stability and osseointegration."

Osstell AB empowers dentists and dental surgeons globally, aiming to enhance the safety, efficacy, and success rates of implant treatments, the Swedish company states. Since 2018, Osstell is part of the W&H group, a leading manufacturer of dental precision instruments and devices.

"Collaborating with Neoss Group opens up new possibilities for advancing implant treatments and empowering dental professionals globally,” Osstell AB CEO Malin Gustavsson states in the press release. “We are excited about the potential it holds, and the positive outcomes this collaboration will bring to clinicians and patients worldwide."

Osstell offers a variety of dental implant products including the Osstell IDx, which helps clinicians to objectively determine implant stability–without jeopardizing the healing process, and the SmartPeg™, which attaches to the implant and is used together with the company's measurement instruments Osstell IDx, Osstell Beacon or Osstell ISQ.

The Neoss Implant System provides solutions for a wide variety of clinical indications and treatment protocols with a rationalized assortment including short, wide and narrow implants. It provides both the surgeons and the restorative doctors the freedom and flexibility without compromise to performance or success, according to Neoss. The system features the ProActive surface, NeoLoc connection, NeossONE prosthetic platform and more.
