MouthWatch's TeleDent Integrates with Open Dental Practice Management System

MouthWatch has announced its teledentistry platform, TeleDent, will now be integrated with Open Dental Software’s practice management system. This integration will now allow TeleDent users to tap into Open Dental’s practice management software, and to make things easier for dental practices trying to go digital, according to MouthWatch Founder and CEO Brant Herman.

“This integration between TeleDent and Open Dental is the starting point to add teledentistry to one of the leading, innovative practice management solutions,” Herman said in a press release from the company. “The result will be a comprehensive, convenient and scalable virtual care platform for digital dental practices.”

Open Dental is a HIPAA compliant and open-source dental practice management software that is designed to be suitable for any size dental practice. Features include patient care charts, prescription capabilities, treatment planning, and patient communications. It is now paired with TeleDent, the teledentistry solutions platform from MouthWatch.

This integration is available now for both new and current TeleDent users.
