Digital dental solutions provider LuxCreo, Inc. has announced the expansion of its iLux Pro Dental 3D Printing Solution to support a wide range of certified third-party resins, per a press release from the company. These resins cover various dental applications, including aligners, retainers, splints, night guards, surgical guides, denture bases and teeth, crowns and bridges, impression trays, IBT, restorative models, and gingiva masks.

The iLux Pro Dental solution, known for its efficiency, operates on LuxCreo's patented LEAP™ Platform and Digital Polishing™ technology. According to LuxCreo, it offers 24/7 production capabilities and integrates with the iLux Automation Ecosystem, which includes LuxDesign, LuxFlow, LuxLink, iLux Automation, iLuxWash, and iLuxCure. This system is designed to simplify the design, printing, post-processing, and fleet management processes, reportedly reducing workload by 90% and requiring less than 10 minutes of training.

Michael Strohecker, CRO of LuxCreo, expressed pride in the company's comprehensive and user-friendly suite of high-quality dental resins. “With the iLux Pro Dental Solution and 1-Click simplified digital workflows, LuxCreo and our resin partners can now offer a comprehensive and easy-to-use suite of high-quality dental resins to clinics and laboratories,” he said in the press release.

The 1-Click Workflow allows users to quickly set up and print dental models with minimal effort. It automates orientation, support generation, and nesting for each resin and indication, significantly reducing manual post-processing time and complexity. LuxCreo's extensive testing ensures optimal support structure, orientation, accuracy, print speed, and fast batching.
