The ReLeaf HVE system is designed for patients with small arches.
Kulzer has announced the release of the Ivory® ReLeaf™ Minis. The ReLeaf Minis can be used with the ReLeaf hands-free suction system for patients with small arches. The system’s hands-free design can reportedly save practices up to 15 minutes per patient.
Ivory ReLeaf is a hands-free HVE suction solution that is designed to help clinicians with evacuation, retraction, and maintaining a dry field. It’s said to be suitable for use during a variety of procedures, including restorative, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, ultrasonic scaling, and more. The ReLeaf system includes an HVE hose with a quick disconnect adaptor on 1 end for easy connection to the practice’s existing vacuum system and a u-shaped connector on the other end where the single-use “leaf” is inserted.
The “leaf” is designed for comfort and is BPA- and latex-free and features 280° of suction. It is placed into the oral cavity between the teeth and cheek to maintain effective suction and a dry field while still allowing clinicians space to work in all 4 quadrants comfortably.
“The Ivory ReLeaf system has enjoyed great popularity since its 2018 introduction due to the enhanced safety and comfort it offers patients, and the exceptional efficiency and ergonomics it offers clinicians,“ said Obioma Clifford, Kulzer’s senior product manager for the Ivory ReLeaf line. “With our ReLeaf Minis launch, we are pleased to now be able to extend these important benefits to patients of all ages with small arches, and to the practitioners who treat them.”
The ReLeaf Minis are about 25% smaller than the original leaf, but still fits the system’s u-shaped connector. It’s designed to work with a variety of patients, including elderly and pediatric patients, patients with TMJ, special needs patients, and other patients with small arches.
ReLeaf Mini refills are available in 100-count packages featuring green, magenta, and light blue colors. For more information, visit kulzerus.com.
