Visalys® Veneer Chairside is the latest addition at Kettenbach LP. They are prefabricated, polymerized, radiopaque veneers made of a highly filled hybrid composite.
This practical system reportedly makes it possible to achieve a high-quality esthetic result in only one session. The product is suitable for cosmetic treatment, as well as for various clinical indications.
Visalys® Veneer is based on a hybrid composite. After curing the material, the veneer surface is finished in a special plasma hardening process that is said to make it extremely fracture and abrasion resistant. Veneers and composite share the same chemical composition, reportedly making it possible to achieve optimal, long-lasting esthetic results without discoloration.

The new Visalys® Veneer is minimally invasive and thus suitable for numerous indications, including tooth discoloration, anatomical defects, incisal edge extensions, tooth malignment, diastema, attrition/abrasion/erosion, caries, tooth fractures, masking old restorations and cosmetic corrections. In just one session (one to three hours, depending on the indication) the dentist can reportedly achieve individual, high-quality results immediately after preparation of the teeth. The treatment outcome is said to be immediately visible.
Unlike other materials, such as ceramic veneers, the Kettenbach product is not restricted to specific indications that can be used at lower costs with less time and effort. Until now, crowns, ceramic veneers or freehand modeling materials using complicated layering techniques were considered the method of choice. Visalys® Veneers are reportedly a great alternative and the ideal solution for fast, minimally invasive esthetic results.
