Up to 12 CE credits can be earned, and a $300 early bird discount is being offered to DPR readers until September 10.
One of the speakers at 3DU is Dr. John Flucke, the chief dental editor and technology editor for Dental Products Report. Dr. Flucke will be speaking on the value of 3D in endodontic procedures. We recently had the chance to speak with the Missouri dentist about what attracts him to 3D imaging.
“There’s the old adage of you don’t know what you don’t know and I completely agree with that,” Dr. Flucke said. “When it comes to 3D, you also don’t know what you can’t see. 3D has really become a game-changer for dentistry. Once you can turn something around and see it from all directions, it gives you more information and it is better for the patient and for you.

“As dentists, we manage to do well with endo because we’re so well trained and have taken so many classes, but there’s still a certain amount of guesswork because you can’t see everything. With 3D, you can see it all and that’s where things become truly amazing.”
