The 1:5 high-speed contra angle is the latest addition to the company’s handpiece product line.

The TorqTech Ultra Mini is the latest addition to J. Morita Corp.’s contra angle dental handpiece product line. With this newest product offering, clinicians can enjoy the stability and durability they’ve come to trust from the manufacturer, now in a smaller profile.

With a comparatively short head height, the Ultra Mini is designed to provide excellent visibility and is ideal for treating patients with limited jaw mobility or children with small oral cavities. Despite its compact size, users will find this 1:5 contra angle to deliver a high cutting capacity with an extended life span, according to J. Morita. The Ultra mini accepts both standard and short shank burs up to 21 mm in length unlike many competitive units.

A newly designed water spray offers consistent cooling, even in the most challenging treatment areas with 4 points of chip air. Versatile, this unit is compatible with air and E-type electric motors.

TorqTech attachments are compact and well balanced with a smooth surface finish. Ergonomically designed, the slim attachments offer easy access to the treatment area and are said to be more comfortable for both the dentist and patient.

Other benefits include a light weight to reduce fatigue, a durable chuck, maximum illumination, and an efficient spray filter. New features are designed to reduce the stress of drilling, especially when removing old fillings or to perform large preparations. The chuck features a strong grip on the bur and is built to last long. The surface of the TorqTech Ultra mini attachment is durable, corrosion-resistant and more resistant to wear and tear. Additionally, the surface of the attachment is said to stay clean longer and has a smooth, comfortable feel.
