New enhancements to this luting material from Ivoclar optimize restoration workflows in the dental practice.
Dental materials manufacturer Ivoclar has announced that it has added a new White opaque shade to its Variolink Esthetic line. Coming in both dual-cure and light-cure, Variolink has new enhancements to offer clinicians more flexibility when it comes to adhesive cementation, per a press release from Ivoclar.
Variolink Esthetic is best suited for a variety of restorations and is compatible with most commonly used materials like lithium disilicate, glass-ceramic, composite resin, and more. The product aims for consistency in adhesive cementation protocol as clinicians function in prosthetic workflows, per the press release.
Its light-cure variant, Variolink Esthetic LC, will now benefit from enhanced viscosity. This will make the luting material easier to handle, per the press release, particularly in cases of veneer cementation. Meanwhile, the dual-cure variant Variolink Eshthetic DC, will now benefit from a new White opaque shade, giving clinicians more esthetic options for the final restoration.
