I started Ho Dental Company about 28 years ago when I created my first product, the Ho Band. I have been actively involved in new product development ever since.

Over the years, I have brought more than a dozen original products into the dental marketplace while still practicing full time.

A passion for new product development

My biggest motivation for continuing to develop new products is based on Dr. Gordon Christensen’s golden rule for evaluating products, that is, is it better, faster, cheaper? As a practitioner, I’m always looking for products that are better but cost less, save me time, and minimize waste.

It is from this very perspective that I challenge myself to come up with a better product. I see inconvenience and high cost as opportunities. There is a great proverb that says, “until the lions have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.” I want to develop products from the lion’s perspective.

BFC Complete

I am proud to say my latest product, BFC Complete, fits the bill. I took my BFC Syringe (which has been on the market for almost 5 years) and pre-loaded it with a fabulous light-body VPS material, Vaccu·sil

The users literally save $2 per impression just on the light body alone, and even more if they use my heavy body as well. This marriage of an unrivaled delivery system with a fabulous material takes Gordon’s golden rule to a new level.

What’s next

As a complement to BFC Complete, I am currently working on a game-changing heavy body cartridge and delivery system, which will not only make it easier on a dental assistant’s hands but will cut down packaging costs for the silicone material manufacturers by 75%. That translates into savings for the dentist.

Available in fast and regular set formulas, Vaccu·sil light and heavy body impression material is said to provide solid performance at an economical cost. The light body is available in pre-filled BFC Complete syringes. It is compatible with all heavy body VPS impression materials. The heavy body is provided in a 50 cc cartridge.
