This new, open digital dental workflow from Imagine USA gives clinicians flexibility for in-house restorations.
Imagine USA has announced its new digital dental solution the OPEN™ Go Digital Mill™ system. This digital dental workflow covers all of the hardware, software, and training needed to scan and mill restorations, including same-day crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers, and others. The Go Digital Mill joins Imagine’s Imagine OPEN family, which also includes in-house printing.
This new digital dental workflow meets the growing need in the industry for digitization, according to Chief Business Officer at Imagine, Brent Harvey.
“Most dentists know that the era of digital dentistry is upon us and are ready to add intraoral scanning to their capabilities. But the idea of designing of even producing restorations in-house can seem daunting,” Harvey said in a press release from the company. “As digital dental experts, we partner with these doctors and their staff to train them and implement a digital workflow that is optimized for them. We make sure that they start benefiting from digital dental technology as soon as Imagine OPEN is installed in their clinic.”
This new CAD/CAM system from Imagine USA operates on an open system, giving doctors a unique flexibility for efficient, in-house restorations, according to CEO at Imagine, Felix Chung.
“It provides them with a reliable and proven open CAD/CAM system that we have tested, perfected, and can quickly train them to use proficiently,” Chung said in the press release. “Because our solution is based on all ‘open’ technology the CAD/CAM files can be used by anyone with an open digital system, which gives doctors tremendous flexibility to produce restorations and appliances in-clinic if they choose, send cases out to labs when they prefer, or do both.”
This digital milling system is available now.
