Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC), the largest distributor of health care products and services to office-based practitioners, today announced the promotion of Michael Porro to Director of CAD/CAM Sales for Henry Schein Dental.
Mr. Porro joined the Company in 2005 as a Regional Manager in the South Texas Region based in San Antonio, Texas. Over the past five years, he has grown the region in both personnel and sales. Under his direction, the San Antonio center was awarded the Center of Excellence Award at the Company’s 2009 National Sales Meeting in recognition of the tremendous growth and sales achievement in the center for 2008. Mr. Porro has worked in the dental industry for more than 14 years.
In this new role, Mr. Porro, working alongside John DeMark, Director, CAD/CAM and Digital Restorations, will be instrumental in implementing and expanding sales strategies with the Company’s CAD/CAM Sales Specialists throughout the country.
Mr. Porro received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts. He will be based in West Allis, Wis.
