Henry Schein announces lineup of solutions and events at Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting and LMT LAB DAY

Henry Schein, Inc. today announced the launch of new products and partnerships at the Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting and LMT LAB DAY.

Building on Henry Schein's mission to improve the lives of those we touch by focusing on practice care so dental professionals and laboratory technicians can focus on patient care, the company will offer daily live scanning with the latest digital scanning devices, as well as feature thought-leader discussions via #ScheinChats, a social media series available on Facebook Live. The company will also host a press briefing on Feb. 23 with the Florida Dental Association Foundation and introduce a new exclusive agreement with Simplifeye, an innovative technology solution available from Henry Schein Practice Solutions, on Feb. 24.

Announcing new products and partnerships

Henry Schein Practice Solutions: At the Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting, held at McCormick Place, the practice solutions business of Henry Schein, Inc. will launch TechCentral Hybrid Backup Service, which helps dentists efficiently store practice and patient data both on site and in the cloud, providing dentists peace of mind about their storage (#3211).

Henry Schein Exclusives: At the Henry Schein Dental booth (#2819), the company's exclusive products will be demonstrated, including the new Monoject™ Disposable Dental Injector, a pre-loaded, disposable injector designed to streamline patient procedures by eliminating setup and reprocessing steps, as well as new products from Clinician's Choice® Dental Products, Inc., including EVANESCE™ Nano-Enhanced Universal Restorative, material used for both anterior and posterior restorations that is designed to match natural tooth structure.

Zahn Dental: At LMT LAB DAY, held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Zahn Dental will announce its partnership with Formlabs, designer and manufacturer of 3D printing systems. On display will be Form 2, a desktop 3D printer, which can be used for a variety of applications that can help improve patient outcomes of surgical procedures (Grand Ballrooms E and F).

Live Events: At McCormick Place, Henry Schein will once again feature live scanning with Planmeca PlanScan Scanner®, 3Shape TRIOS® Intraoral Scanner and 3M™ True Definition Scanner, which will be held Thursday and Friday at 11:45 a.m. CT and 4:15 p.m. CT., and on Saturday at 11:45 a.m. CT only.

The latest edition of #ScheinChats will also be held-at Chicago Midwinter (Booth #2819) and LMT LAB DAY (Grand Ballrooms E and F)-and feature discussions between Team Schein Members and key industry leaders addressing topics such as leadership and its impact on the bottom line, the emerging role of dental hygienists, and 3D printing in the dental lab. Stanley M. Bergman, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Henry Schein, will be accompanied by Dean Kenneth Chance, Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, for a conversation about oral care as primary care on Feb. 23 at 3:45 p.m. CT. Thursday's event, held at 3:30 p.m. CT, (Hyatt Conference Center, adjacent to McCormick Place, Room: Jackson Park D) will reveal preliminary results of a first-of-its-kind study conducted by the Florida Dental Association (FDA) Foundation and the Florida Mission of Mercy Committee to measure the impact dental outreach events can have on the health of local community members and hospital emergency department usage. Friday's event, held at the Dentrix booth (#3211) at 10 a.m. CT, will officially announce the company's partnership with Simplifeye as a Dentrix® Connected partner.
