Kasey Pitillo, a mother and 13-year dental industry veteran, recently launched Happy Teeth™, a line of dental products for babies that are said to be safe, gentle and all natural.

For example, non-fluoridated Happy Teeth Natural Baby Toothpaste includes Xylitol – a natural, cavity-preventing sweetener – but avoids harsh abrasives and artificial flavors, preservatives and colors. Other products include the Pure Baby Toothbrush by Radius and a Complete Pack with toothbrush and toothpaste.  Additional products are planned for late 2013, including tooth and gum wipes.

As a supplement to the products, Happy Teeth also offers a resource center with educational materials that teaches parents simple ways to make teeth and gum cleaning fun for their baby.  Interactive tools include a “How to Make Tiny Teeth Happy” e-book as well as educational videos and a downloadable sing-along jingle.
