Great Lakes Dental has partnered with teledentistry platform In Hand Dental to expand clear aligner offerings for customers.
Great Lakes Dental Technologies has announced a new partnership with In Hand Dental. In Hand Dental develops a teledentistry platform that enables clinicians to offer care with things like remote monitoring and virtual consultations. Through this partnership, Great Lakes will begin offering this platform under its brand for clear aligners.
In Hand Dental is HIPPA-compliant, artificial intelligence-enabled, and customizable to each patients’ needs, according to a press release from Great Lakes. Clinicians can check on patient progress, have virtual visits, and communicate with patients regarding treatment through In Hand Dental.
“We were impressed with the idea of branding this exciting technology and offering the platform to our customers to improve patient outcomes, reduce chair time, and add value to their practices,” Great Lakes president and CEO, John Ende says in the press release. “We are always looking for solutions to help our customers and In Hand Dental’s unique model offers us that opportunity.”
Great Lakes plans to make more treatment options available through In Hand Dental in the future, including traditional braces, teeth whitening, TMJ-splint therapy, and sleep/airway therapy.
