Based on a recent survey of 1,700 dentists and office managers, 1-800-DENTIST’s new free whitepaper “A Practice Divided: How Office Managers and Dentists View Marketing Differently” explores unseen disconnects in dental practices, especially when it comes to evaluating the efficacy of marketing and communication technologies.
As the report illustrates, office managers and dentists gave surprisingly different answers after being asked about the importance of digital marketing methods like websites, social media, online reviews, and more.
“One of the most surprising findings was that office managers and dentists often have different perceptions of what is currently being done in their practice,” said Michael Turner, CEO of 1-800-DENTIST. “In many cases the practice has much more of a presence online than the dentist realizes.”

The report also provides useful strategies to help dentists and office managers better work together to improve the outcomes of important marketing assets, as well as offers guidelines how to best communicate front office perspectives to the dentist.
