This new xSNAP module for DentalCAD 3.1 Rijeka is highly customizable, allowing users to create dental models tailored to their workflow.
Exocad has announced an add-on for its DentalCAD 3.1 Rijeka platform. This new add-on will allow dental professionals to create dental models with a 3D-printed articulator and simulate physiological mandibular movements such as protrusion, mediotrusion, and laterotrusion. xSNAP is the first 3D joint system for dental models produced in a 3D printer, according to a press release from exocad.
xSNAP attachments are equipped with integrated articular paths and condylar path inclinations of 15,25, 35, and 45 degrees. There is a flat incisal plate as well as an incisal plate with a 30 degree inclination for user customization, allowing dental professionals to boost dental model workflows to their needs.
Exocad’s xSNAP can eliminate the need to articulate acrylic models in subsequent uses. Other benefits include a dynamically adjustable joint guidance for user preference, as well as the adaptive support of the xSNAP attachment, eliminating the need for additional support structures.
