DEXIS Launches New Intraoral Scanning Portfolio
DEXIS’s new intraoral scanning portfolio, DEXIS IS, is a range a digital dental diagnostic systems that are designed to offer clinicians a fully robust range of scanning solutions. Every stage is covered with 3 levels of intraoral scanner–the entry level IS 3600, standard IS 3700, fast IS 3800W, and the new IS Voyager. The Voyager is an all-in-one computer trolley designed to offer clinicians scanning flexibility within the dental office, according to DEXIS.
Each scanner can be paired with the IS Voyager per the clinician’s choice, and all of the scanners in the portfolio are paired with the IS ScanFlow v1.07 software update. This software enables digital impressions, increased scanning speed, and 1-click export functionality to IS Connect. IS Connect with an online portal that transmits digital intraoral impression scans, which can facilitate transfer of STL and DICOM impression files.
IS users can also take advantage of ScanFlow’s DTX Studio™ Clinic 3.2 to integrate with practice management systems. This integration also allows clinicians to view X-ray images, 2D and 3D images, and other digital image formats, according to a press release from DEXIS. DEXIS IS will continually update, offering dental practices longevity in their investment.
The launch of DEXIS IS will round out DEXIS’s digital offerings, offering dental professionals comprehensive diagnostic systems that are customizable to their needs.
