This integration will combine digital scanning, imaging, and 3D printing opportunities with the help of innovations from DEXIS and SprintRay.
Intraoral scanning group DEXIS has announced a join commercial and integration arrangement with 3D printing company SprintRay. DEXIS intraoral scanners will be integrated with SprintRay Cloud Design Services through DTX Studio Clinic. This is meant to simplify design and fabrication of a variety of dental indications like models, crowns, bridges, and surgical guides, according to a press release from the companies.
“We are thrilled to work with DEXIS IOS to bring their advanced intraoral scanning technology to our customers,” Co-Founder and CEO of SprintRay Amir Mansouri says in the press release. “This collaboration will allow dental professionals to create accurate and detailed scans and produce high-quality appliances and restorations in-house with our cutting-edge design services and 3D printers, saving time and improving patient outcomes.”
DEXIS IOS and SprintRay have also collaborated to offer full packages of this integration and are currently working on ways to make this more accessible for dental professionals.
