Dentsply Sirona to Focus on Digital Dentistry & Global Oral Health at IDS 2023
Dentsply Sirona will have a variety of offerings at IDS 2023 in Cologne, Germany, including a focus on digital dentistry, discussions and panels, and a chance for attendees to affirm their commitment to sustainability in dentistry.
Dentsply Sirona to Focus on Digital Dentistry & Global Oral Health at IDS 2023
Dentsply Sirona has announced its focus on digital dentistry as well as improving global oral health at this year’s International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne, Germany. The show, which takes place from March 14th to the 18th, will host Dentsply Sirona in its exhibition space in Hall 1.2. Dentsply Sirona’s motto for IDS 2023 is, “United for better dentistry,” according to a press release from the company. As part of being united, Dentsply Sirona will focus on digital dentistry, global oral health, and sustainability. As part of its sustainability initiative, Dentsply Sirona’s exhibition space will be comprised of wooden floors and reused materials as well as a specific section dedicated to sustainability where attendees may commit through its Sustainability Commitment Wall.
Another important feature of Dentsply Sirona’s space will be its spotlight on DS Core, the cloud-based, open platform that connects Dentsply Sirona devices. Other spotlights include: Primescan Connect, the laptop version of the Primescan intraoral scanner; Primeprint, the 3D printing unit; the OmniTaper EV Implant System; the SmartLite Pro Endo Activator for root canal irrigation; the 2D/3D x-ray system Axeos; the new Axano treatment center for ergonomic and effective treatment; and the SureSmile Clear Aligner System. Innovations such as the Primescan, Primescan Connect, Primeprint, and Axeos can all connect through DS Core.
On top of showcasing its innovations, Dentsply Sirona will also offer live workflow demonstrations and “DS Talks” panel discussions. These will focus on sustainability and digitalization, the 2 most relevant topics in the dental industry today, according to President and CEO of Dentsply Sirona Simon Campion.
