DENTSPLY has released a new smartphone app, Lab Smarter, that reportedly makes ordering denture teeth easier and faster.
DENTSPLY Prosthetics has released a new smartphone app designed to make using DENTSPLY denture teeth more efficient. The Lab Smarter App is available for both Android and iOS platforms.
The Lab Smarter app provides the ability to scan DENTSPLY denture teeth barcodes quickly and accurately, eliminating the paper reordering processes still used by many labs. The app utilizes the mobile device’s integrated camera to become a fully-featured barcode reader that will capture the denture tooth card SKU information, including mold and shade; the app can then electronically transmit a replenishment order directly to the DENTSPLY distributor of choice.
This is DENTSPLY Prosthetics’ first app targeted to simplify inventory management and order processes at the dental laboratory.
Product roundup: Denture teeth
"This app is a game-changer," says Brian Fritsch, Senior Product Manager, Removables of DENTSPLY Prosthetics. "Ordering and managing denture teeth inventory can be a burden. DENTSPLY is again showing our laboratory customers the value we bring to our brands.”
The Lab Smarter app uses Smart Cabinet Technology to make use of barcodes already integrated into DENTSPLY cabinets. Additionally, users can setup default shipping addresses and distributor information for faster checkout, view/print app order history down to the mold, shade and quantity ordered.
