Colgate® has announced the addition of Colgate Zero to its portfolio of at-home oral care products. With choices for kids and adults, Colgate Zero offers zero percent artificial flavors, sweeteners, preservatives, and colors in the toothpaste and zero percent artificial flavors, sweeteners, and dyes in the mouthwash-all without sacrificing the same high standard of protection Colgate has offered for over 200 years.
"Improving oral health is our top priority. As consumer preferences shift towards products containing less artificial ingredients, we wanted to ensure Colgate users had products that t their lifestyles," said Greg Ross, general manager, Oral Care, North America at Colgate-Palmolive. "Every Colgate Zero formula is clear, which helps signal to consumers that they are free from certain ingredients, while still delivering on all the protection you have come to expect from Colgate."
The Zero line of products includes Colgate Peppermint or Spearmint Toothpaste, which is said to have a micro-foaming formula that provides a deep clean and cavity protection; and Colgate Zero Mouthwash Fresh Breath, which is said to kill 99 percent of germs and has a natural, cooling peppermint flavor to freshen breath. Other options of the mouthwash include Zero Mouthwash Healthy Gums and Zero Mouthwash Healthy Teeth.
The Colgate Zero Toothpaste for Kids 2-6 Years is designed to strengthen enamel, protect against cavities, and has a kid-friendly strawberry flavor. The toothpaste for kids is also available for children 3-24 months in a mild fruit flavor. The Zero Kids Manual Brush is BPA-free and is suitable for children 2 years or older.
