Michael Delano, Product Specialist with Carestream Dental talks about the launch of CS SoftDent Software version 15 with Stan Goff, Executive Editor, Dental Products Report, live from the convention floor at the California Dental Association trade show.
To develop CS SoftDent “breakthrough” scheduling software, Carestream staff spent thousands of hours working with offices, working with front desks and observing work flows, explained Delano. This was to really understand what an office needs in front of them to work effectively without interruption.
“We’ve introduced quite a few new things in the new scheduling software,” he said. The software can maintain multiple workflows, work in multiple appointment cards of different patients, and can proactively update itself. Customers can go to the company’s website to view training materials about the new software.
