New implant supported restorations are fabricated using materials from a range of sources along with custom CAD/CAM tooling.
Fabricated from 8 components including materials from a range of sources and workflows focused on quality and detail, Alien 8 restorations from Alien Milling are lightweight implant-supported full-arch solutions that reportedly offer both esthetics and flexible strength.
The 8 components of the Alien 8 restorations include milling every part using the Alien AR5 mill with custom milling strategies, and a tool specifically designed to cut the Tri-Lor material from Harvest Dental that is used to make the substructures. The crowns are milled from Alien Extreme zirconia and then stained and glazed with Jensen Dental's Miyo Stains and In Sync Glaze.
The gingival details are created using GRADIA from GC America, and then sealed with GC OptiGlaze. The crowns are then affixed to the substructure with the Duo-Link Universal adhesive system from BISCO. Finally the restoration is restored with implant components from NT Trading.
Alien 8 restorations are designed and produced by Alien Milling with a 2 to 3 week turnaround time.
