The American Dental Association and Florida Dental Convention's annual conference is officially going virtual, the ADA announced today. The ADA FDC Virtual Connect Conference will be held online Oct. 15-17 and will be a live or on-demand experience.
Participants have the choice to interact real-time with speakers, industry experts, and other dental professionals, or watch later with on-demand access. The conference will feature networking events, as well as sessions dedicated to improving mental and physical health.
"At its essence, dentistry is about connection—to our patients, to our communities, and to each other. Whether you are in a large practice or a solo practitioner, this connection empowers us to learn and grow as we work toward our vision to achieve optimal health for all," said Dr. Nanette C. Tertel, the 2020 ADA meeting chair.
The conference will begin Thursday, October 15 with an evening kickoff session and entertainment event. Friday will include a morning wellness event, CE sessions, a keynote session, an exhibit hall, and a networking event. Saturday will begin with another wellness event, more CE sessions, an afternoon keynote sessions, a closing event. All events will be available on-demand except for workshops.
