3M™ Clarity™ Aligners Flex has a proprietary 5-layer construction.

Designed to provide more treatment options for orthodontists, 3M Clarity Aligners Flex + Force allows the clinician to select from two distinct aligner materials within a single treatment plan for simple to complex orthodontic cases.

The new Flex material features a 5-layer construction with outer layers designed to resist staining, and inner layers for flexibility and resilience. This is said to create aligners that offer wearers great fit and comfort. The new material is thinner than the Clarity Force material but still provides solid force persistence, engagement with attachments, and durability.

Clarity aligner cases are designed via Advanced Tx Design through the 3M Oral Care Portal which can also be used for designing bracket or combination treatments including aligners with both the Clarity Aligner Flex and Clarity Aligner Force materials.
