Due to the continued impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the world's largest dental trade show will move from March 2021 to September 2021.
With the goal of providing a safer and more secure event for attendees and exhibitors, the International Dental Show (IDS) announced it will reschedule its 2021 event.
Originally scheduled for March 10 through 13, 2021, IDS 2021 will now take place September 22 through 25, 2021. The postponement is being made to enable the 39th edition of the world's largest dental trade to be more accessible to international exhibitors and attendees. Organizers said in a press release that they hope by September the pandemic will be more under control, and travel restrictions will be relaxed.
The event in September will still incorporate the new #B-SAFE4business concept that had been planned for the original March timeline. This concept combines physical and digital elements to create a hybrid event with a more spaced-out exhibition and a range of online events and activities.
