Uveneer allows dentists to create permanent composite veneers

Uveneer is a direct template anterior facial matrix system that allows dentists to create permanent composite veneers simply use the “press-and-cure” technique with the light-cured composite material of their choice.

The dentist-designed and engineered product is said to produce correct anatomy and contour from central, lateral, canine and first and second pre-molars. Its design is based on the "golden proportion" of tooth size, shape and smile design (when viewed from the facial, the width of each anterior tooth is 60 percent of the width of the adjacent tooth).

Uveneer can be used for all composite veneer applications and the creation of temporary veneers and crown shape between appointments while porcelain veneers are being made in the lab. It can also be used for direct chairside mockups before conducting the procedure to show the patient how the results can look and communication with lab technicians and orthodonists.

Uveneer reportedly makes restorations fast, easy, predictable and reproducible every time from a single tooth or up to 10 teeth per arch.

The dentist places presses a translucent template over the composite that has been laid on the tooth. The template is removed after the material has cured.

Curing through this patented plastic design means clinicians shut off the sticky oxygen inhibited layer of the composite while curing, reportedly cutting back on messy finishing and polishing materials and saving valuable time. The result is contoured and glossy composite veneers. 

Uveneer is autoclavable and reusable.
