TAUB Products reintroduces Minute Stains

Article

Minute Stains are designed to give an unlimited variation of color options to perfectly match the patient's surrounding teeth.

TAUB Products, a long-time manufacturer of dental laboratory and restorative products, has announced the reintroduction of Minute Stains, ultrathin acrylic liquids in a variety of colors that reportedly allow natural characterization of milled PMMA provisionals, temporaries, composite teeth and denture teeth. By mixing and layering colors, Minute Stains are designed to give an unlimited variation of color options to perfectly match the surrounding teeth. Each application of stain air-dries in 15 seconds, saving patient chair time.

“It is important for patients to be happy with their provisional smile, while waiting for implants to heal and custom ceramic crowns to be designed,” states Jordan Taub, vice president of TAUB. “Depending on the procedure, final restorations may not be placed for months, and long-term provisionals that lack characterization and do not match surrounding teeth can make the patient self-conscious in public."
