Roland DGA Corporation recently introduced the DWP-80S dental 3D printer. The product is being released under the company’s new DGSHAPE brand.
User-friendly:
The 3D printer is said to be bundled with new feature-rich, user-friendly Quick Denta software, ideal for the creation of 3D-printed prosthesis, including custom trays, denture base plates and partial frameworks for casting. Components of all types are designed to be printed in just three steps using the pre-configured workflow wizard.

The DWP-80S printer is engineered to be the perfect solution for users of all skill levels. Its digital production method is said to intelligently determine the way components are positioned for printing, creating the ideal layout of support points, and adjust for material shrinkage.
Functional:
The DWP-80S reportedly boasts a large work area (80 mm x 80 mm x 80 mm), designed to allow for the simultaneous printing of multiple units. The approximate number of simultaneously printed components is said to be up to three custom trays, up to four base plates and up to four frameworks.
