The morning huddle is an important part of any dental practice’s day. It’s the time to meet as a team and talk about that day’s patients, any challenges that may come up and how to overcome them.

This important team meeting sets the tone for the day, and if you don’t bother to show up or roll in 10 minutes late, don’t be surprised if you see irritated team members not living up to their potential.

If you constantly blow the morning huddle off, then that shows your team members that talking with them and getting them excited for the day ahead simply isn’t important to you, so why should it be important to them? Instead of dragging in 15 minutes after the meeting was supposed to start, show up a little early and have a plan for the meeting. Be prepared with topics to cover, and show your team members this time with them is important.
