Updates to Patterson Dental’s Eaglesoft clinical and practice management software offer new features that are said to help dental practitioners simplify daily routines, including customized medical history, Eaglesoft Newsfeed, web-based Patterson Auto Update, CareCredit bridge, and integrated Clinician Lite for Eaglesoft Clinician users.
The fully customized medical history feature of Eaglesoft 17 lets users ask questions pertinent to particular patients, making it easier to obtain information required for specific appointments. Coming in early 2014, Eaglesoft Web allows users to view schedules, patient accounts, medical and prescription histories, proposed treatments, and clinical images – even when out of the office.
Also, Patterson Auto Update provides users with automatic regular updates via an internet connection, while Eaglesoft News Feed RSS feed offers the latest news about Eaglesoft software and technology updates.
Eaglesoft 17 also includes Eaglesoft 3D viewer by Dolphin, improved imaging software that lets users import images into Eaglesoft and utilize Dolphin 3D enhancement and manipulation tools. Plus, an exposure meter informs users if they are not applying optimal exposure on Schick 33 digital images.
The updated software also integrates with Emdeon’s Clinician EHR Lite, plus a CareCredit Bridge offers direct processing of credit applications that are prepopulated with patient information. A new setting also provides greater security on provider and patient notes and 2013 CDT notes are also available for installation.
