The integrated endodontic function reportedly enables intuitive endodontic treatment with greater comfort and safety.
Preserving natural teeth for as long as possible is the goal of patients and practitioners. To address this need, in recent years endodontics has become a veritable high-tech discipline within dentistry. The “reciprocating file system” endodontic function reportedly enables intuitive endodontic treatment with greater comfort and safety, easily applicable for endodontists as well as other professionals.
Ergonomic and time-saving endodontic treatment
The Intego Pro and Intego Pro Ambidextrous integrate the reciprocating function, which can be used together with the Dentsply Sirona Endodontics (WAVE ONE) and VDW (RECIPROC) file system. The reciprocating file can be selected and controlled via the user interface of the treatment center. This is designed to allow ergonomic and time-saving endodontic treatment with greater comfort and safety.

Preparing the root canal with reciprocating motion is currently considered to be the safest and easiest method in the market. Together with ApexLocator, the customer is said to benefit from precise, safe and easy endodontic treatment. An EasyTouch display is required for using the reciprocating file system.
“The new feature further hightens the performance of Intego Pro," says Susanne Schmidinger, head of product management at Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers. "The reciprocating file system function is a great opportunity to offer something special and bring real value again for our existing and new clients.”
Available soon at no additional cost
The new firmware V2.5 with the new functionality is now available for free download in the dealer section of the Dentsply Sirona website. New units with the Endo function included can already be ordered and delivered.
New 22” monitor
One additional feature of the treatment center is a new 22” monitor replacing the current one. The new monitor’s features include a continuous glass surface to promote better infection prevention.
