It’s equally important for dental practices to be prepared with infection control measures. Below are a collection of resources for DHCP and practices to refer to during this epidemic.

The American Dental Association (ADA), has provided a dental-specific resource center, which includes updates on the availability of PPE and prevention of transmission in a dental setting.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is one of the best sources for accurate Coronavirus information. Available is information on infection control in a dental setting, printable hygiene posters, and resources for businesses and employees

The Academy of General Dentistry's COVID-19 Information site includes links to a wealth of national, state, local and Canadian resources about the COVID-19 pandemic, small business assistance and more.

Software company Emisoft is offering free ransomware help for healthcare professionals during this outbreak.

Flattenthecurve.com offers general do’s and don’ts to alleviate the strain on our healthcare system. 

Henry Schein also has an education center, which includes webinars, information regarding practice supply chains, and extending the supply of PPE.

Patterson Dental has their COVID-19 Resource Center which includes checklists, expert advice on communicating with patients as well as financial management during the pandemic.  

Hu-Friedy has offered resources for DHCP, including an on-demand Coronavirus webinar (worth 1.5 CE credits) that will offer a clinical perspective on Coronavirus, and tips on preventing infections. The company is also offering an e-book, The Essential Guide to Infection Control.

Teledentistry company MouthWatch has announced that the latest upgrades to its TeleDent software can help practices. In addition, the company is offering a free on-demand webinar to help practices respond to COVID-19 and new subscribers can receive a 30-day free trial.

The North American Dental Group (NADG) and the Professional Dental Alliance have also provided a resource center for dental professionals, including signage, a pre-screening questionnaire for patients, and advanced cleaning and infection control protocol. 

The Ohio Dental Association has compiled resources for dental professionals, including state-required CE on opioid prescribing, a regulatory compliance guide, and free on-demand webinars.
