In this CDA 2012 video interview, Laurel Lubin from Henry Schein Practice Solutions talks about the latest release from Dentrix, the Dentrix G5 practice management software.
"G5 brings improved efficiency and enhanced security," said Lubin. "We are very excited about a new partner program that we have created. It will allow third-party vendors to have integrated tools to create G5-friendly software."
Now, other software developers can join the Dentrix Developer Program and receive tools to develop integrated applications for Dentrix G5. As more applications and technology connect directly into Dentrix, the solutions will work together as one, helping practices work more efficiently.
"We've also added the Daily Huddle Report and the Practice Advisor Report that are created with industry leading consultants to give dentists a better handle on where their practice is in terms of patient care," said Lubin.
The CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry is ongoing through Saturday, May 5, and features 600 exhibiting companies and more than 140 new products.
The bi-annual CDA convention is expected to draw more than 27,000 dentists, dental professionals and students from across the U.S. The three-day convention will feature educational courses and 135,000 square feet of exhibit space where 568 exhibitors will demonstrate new techniques as well as innovative products and services for dentists.
