3Shape TRIOS now integrated with Flash clear aligners

The integration enables orthodontists to cloud-send their 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scans with just a click to Flash for the planning and delivery of its clear aligner orthodontics solutions.

Because the connection is digital, it reportedly means professionals no longer need to take or mail analog PVS impressions or manually upload bulky intraoral scan files to a server when ordering the clear aligners.

Professionals choose Flash clear aligners from their 3Shape Communicate app and click “send.” The 3Shape TRIOS digital impressions are instantly sent via the cloud-based 3Shape Communicate app.

“The integration provides us with a platform to serve doctors who are using 3Shape’s TRIOS intraoral scanners across the globe in a seamless manner. Doctors can write the prescription for Flash aligners on our portal in less than five minutes. The India-based Flash clear aligners now join the more than 30 orthodontic solution and sleep device providers and 220 plus bracket libraries integrated with 3Shape TRIOS orthodontics.
